If I could give a 0 star review for this Pediatric office, I would. This was the most horrible doctor's office experience I have ever had. I am so thankful my kids weren't old enough to understand what was going on.

The girl at the front desk has no personality what so ever. She never smiled at my children or myself. With a huff and a puff, she gave me the new patient paperwork for one of my children. When I went to turn it back in, she didn't say anything. She didn't acknowledge that I was standing in front of her or that I needed to do anything else. As I went to walk away, she told me that I needed to take an assessment for my child on the tablet. This took longer than needed due to the multiple notifications that "Temple Run" was updating. Maybe I am overreacting, but I do not feel that any professional environment, especially in a medical office, is the place to be playing games on your tablet or phone. She also talked poorly about a parent of one of their patients who was having an insurance issue. I shouldn't even know that's what was going on. But I do because she was hollering it across the office at someone else.

Then we went to triage. Looking back, I should have walked out then.

The nurse in triage was rude and had no sense of humor at all. She had the nerve to ask me if my children had the same father. Well, both of my children have the same last name that is different from mine. That should be a sign. She made a comment about the name of the father on the information sheet not matching either of their last names and that is why she asked. It shouldn't matter who I put on the information sheet. That is for contact purposes. If my children were old enough to understand, that would have caused a conversation with them that I hope to avoid for many years. I understand that she may have asked this for medical history of the family but I feel that was something that should be assumed until the present guardian correct her. She was obviously aggravated with my children and how loud they were being. I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old that were missing nap time due to the time of the appointment. They were never rude and even told her thank you numerous times. She is one of those people who should not being working with children.

I just knew things were going to get better when they put us in the room for the doctor to come see us. Boy, was I wrong.

The same nurse from triage came in and pricked my 2 year old's finger. This is not what upset me. What upset me was her aggravation with my crying 2 year old. He doesn't understand what's going on and is in pain. Of course he is going to be upset. Showing your aggravation with him is not going to make him feel any better or calm down the slightest bit.

When the doctor came in the room, she handed one of my children a book and he told her thank you. She spent the rest of the time talking to me like I was the most ignorant person walking the face of the earth. Yes, I am a young mother. I am a young mother when two well behaved, well dressed little men who act like perfect gentlemen more days than not. They say please and thank you and do anything they can to help. TODDLERS. Obviously, I'm doing something right.

She never told me that she was sending his medicine to the pharmacy. I called CVS on a whim to see if there was anything to pick up for my child and they said that there was. Had I not called them, I would have never known.

Last but not least, the girl at the front desk couldn't give me any attention when I tried to schedule a follow up appointment for one of my children because she was too busy flirting with the single dad in the lobby.

Maybe I would have had a better experience if I had been a man.

I will not be taking my kids back to the Kidzcare on Mebane St. in Burlington. The whole facility is a joke and so are the employees. At least the one's I had contact with yesterday.

Does anyone know a GOOD pediatrician in Burlington?
